Cross-body handbags come in handy when you are constantly on the go. I’m always looking for another mid-sized cross-body tote as an everyday bag for work or for a Saturday full of errands. Mid-sized totes are perfect for the day, but when you are planning for a late night out, the small cross-body pouch can be your best friend. It’s a great alternative to a little clutch and will never be left behind.

It’s hard to pass up shopping for new dresses as spring approaches. Most stores usually have an overwhelming selection. There are countless styles and event-specific dresses to choose from: day, evening, cocktail, mini, maxi, sleeveless, strapless… the list goes on. Check out some of the dresses I love for under $100 on beso.

Gap Khaki Drawstring Shirt Dress
Gap Khaki Drawstring Shirtdress, $59.50
is a classic, versatile dress that can be worn to the office or running errands on the weekend. The key is to accessorize since a neutral solid is like a blank canvas. Choose a bright color handbag, chunky bangles or play up the military-inspired details with gladiator sandals.

Spiegel Signature Collection Floral-Print Jersey Dress
Spiegel Signature Collection Floral-Print Jersey Dress, $49
This dress has a figure-flattering pencil shape. Wear it to work with a cardigan or switch it up for evening by carrying a clutch.

Old Navy Tie-Front Wrap Dress
Old Navy Tie-Front Wrap Dress, $28
This dress is great for work, evenings and weekends. Wear it with a cute ballerina flat when running errands or with heels to dress it up.

OC by Oleg Cassini Printed Jersey Dress
OC by Oleg Cassini Printed Jersey Dress, $90
This is a colorful dress that can easily be worn from day to night. Since there is a bold contrasting pattern, keep accessories to a minimum. This dress makes a statement all on its own.

Flawless Foundation under $15
We’ve all felt guilty after leaving the makeup counter with an empty wallet and only an item or two to show for it. This doesn’t have to happen anymore! Drug store makeup can be just as great as brand name makeup, and it won’t break the bank. Here are a few great foundations I’d recommend, and they’re all under $15.00!
At prices like these, you can buy 2 shades to blend and customize coverage just like the pros. Who knows, instead of spending $50 bucks a pop at the department store, you could find your dream foundation that’s exactly the right color.
1. Creamy, dreamy, and such a delight, Maybelline Dream Mousse Foundations are all you need for smooth foundation coverage that doesn’t feel caked on or heavy.
2. Find it impossible to match your skin tone? L’Oreal True Match Super Blendable Powder promises to blend in perfectly so you get a flawless, natural look.
3. Prefer natural mineral foundations? This Neutrogena Mineral Sheers are hypoallergenic and perfect for sensitive skin.
4. I don’t use foundation unless it’s a special event, but I do like a good tinted moisturizer for daily coverage. Covergirl Smoothers Tinted Moisture is a nice amount of coverage for evening out your skin tone, and the bonus factor is that it has SPF 15.

Blank Bushwicked Denim, $67
I love expensive denim just as much as the next person (well… probably a little bit more, but let’s keep that between us). There’s nothing better than a quality pair of jeans that won’t break your bank and don’t cost as much as your rent. What are my favorite brands under $100? Oh, I’m so glad you asked!
1. Anoname: beso has a stellar collection of Anoname, and they’re probably my favorite under $100 brand. Okay, so some of the pairs are over that (it looks like the prices are ranging from $55 to $110), but they’re amazing. Between the soft denim, hand detailing and great washes, nobody will ever know that you paid so little for these gorgeous babies!
2. Blank Denim: A brand that’s on-trend AND every pair under $90? Not many brands can pull it off, but the fabulous Blank Denim does! This NYC-based brand puts out a ton of new styles every season and they’re all a great price. I own a pair and this is one of the few brands that I’ve paid full price for because… well, full price is only about $60!
3. Cheap Monday: Sweden might be known for blonde, blue-eyed bombshells, but this Swedish brand might just change that thought! These jeans offer a great fit that has been seen on everyone from celebrities to scenesters, girls next door and style mavens… all for under a Benjamin.
Is there a brand that you love under $100? Share it in the comments and we’ll duke it out! Want more denim advice to tide you over until my next post here at beso blog? Head over to DenimDebutante.com!
