Classic Watch Styles from World of Watches

I’m a watch person.  I wear one every day, and feel lost if I forget to put one on in the morning.  I always coordinate my jewelry with the watch I’m wearing, and I think it’s cute when couples wear matching watches.  My boyfriend has been letting me wear his watch a lot this summer (he’s not a watch person), and I love its oversized look.  However, I was browsing World of Watches the other day for deals, and found myself drawn to these classic, feminine styles that remind me more of jewelry than timepieces.

Linea Pelle Lately

I’ve been hearing the name Linea Pelle a lot lately, but have never really explored the line.  Kim of crowded-closet.com told us back in April that she’s been carrying her Lauren Conrad for Linea Pelle bag nonstop.  She raved about the durability of her bag.  I also had a friend pick up a Linea Pelle belt a few weeks ago, and was surprised to find out that it was crafted from vintage materials!  Wanting to know more about the line, I did some research over the weekend and here’s what I found from their website:

“Linea Pelle is internationally distinguished as the premiere designer belt company offering the very best in casual luxury.  Linea Pelle also designs chic casual handbags and small leather goods which have been receiving accolades from the fashion industry…”

I wanted to take it a step further and pull a few of my favorites from the Linea Pelle line to review.  Overall, I found them surprisingly affordable for such expert quality.  Also, I couldn’t help but notice how their handbags have a classic appeal without being overtly trendy.  Here are a few of my favorites out right now:

1. Linea Pelle Medium Dylan Tote, $415
Shown in sand, the Linea Pelle Dylan Tote is also available in black, cobalt, espresso, Kelly green, and zucca (orange).  Featuring solid brass hardware and washed Italian leather, there are two inside utility pockets along with a zip pocket.  My favorite feature of this bag is that it can be worn as a cross-body or a shoulder bag.

2. Linea Pelle Vintage Skinny Belt, $145
This vintage skinny belt with multi-row hammered studs is as versatile as it is pretty.  I love the two-tone hardware because I often switch back and forth between silver and gold tone accessories.  I also think it coordinates well with the Dylan tote!

 3. Linea Pelle Dylan Perforated Wallet, $145
Part clutch, part wallet, all practicality.  This Linea Pelle Perforated Wallet nails the cutout trend we’ve been seeing a lot lately, and the price point is equally nice.  Features a zebra lining and brass hardware

Fall Trend: Plaid Accessories

Plaid is back again and coming on strong for fall, and I am determined to make it work this time around.  Usually, I buy one or two plaid things which end up sitting in the back of my closet because I can’t figure out how exactly to wear them.  I think it’s more fun to combine seasonal trends, so this time around I found plaid accessories that can be worn and layered with the plaid that’s already in my closet.

Old Navy Summer Scarves

One of my favorite accessories aside from handbags is scarves.  I have at least a dozen scarves and am always looking for more to add to my collection.  Old Navy scarves are cute and lightweight -  perfect for summer.  Choose from bright colors, floral prints and solids, and since they are all $12.50 or less, you can buy twice as many to coordinate with your summer wardrobe!

Lazy Sunday Shopping and The Most Expensive Pair of Shoes

Let me be frank, I can shop like a pro.  Not only do I work for one of the largest (and best!) shopping companies in the world, but I’ve had more retail jobs than I’d care to admit.  Sometimes, in the name of “research,” I like to sort my online shopping searches by price.  And here’s what I found while browing about this lazy Sunday…

The most expensive pair of shoes for sale on Beso right now is:

Christian Louboutin Bianca  Alligator Pumps, checking in at a whopping $5,495
(Editor’s note: when I told my boyfriend this, he asked if they came with a real live alligator)

Ok, and how about the least expensive pair for sale right now?
